howdy! i'm el, and i mostly play on bakerstreet, but i wanted to give a game a shot, so here i am. pls be gentle 💦

i'm adding james buchanan barnes, or bucky barnes aka the winter soldier as he's more commonly known, as a warden. for the unfamiliar, he's a jaded soldier that survived ww2 by being turned into an evil assassin guy, but he got better, and now he's here to help rehabilitate Bad People. he wants to do good, but he's REALLY GUILTY about all those bad things he did when he was an evil assassin guy, and i'm hoping he can eventually get over that during his time here.

WELCOME, I have a fellow WW2 vet (did not become an evil assassin) so I'm sure these two will become friends in some regard if not by virtue of being neighboring wardens.

i'm not familiar at all with outlander, but with her having been a time traveler and also been through ww2 bucky would love to hear all about the kind of stuff she's gotten up to! esp with the trying to change history context. i imagine they'd probably get along pretty well too outside of that. c:

She made it to about 1968 in more modern times so she'll probably have a cow at the idea of 2023 but also tell her everything (cue confusion about this superhero nonsense) but yeah!!! I think they'll mesh well and she'll be glad to have a warden around with at least a somewhat familiar background given the other two currently on board at the time of this comment are uhh italian renaissance guy and god of mischief guy

yeah so uh there's this guy who kills half of the whole universe? it's a long story. actually he died too during that. pretty wild. but they fixed it! so it's fine!!!!

yeah definitely imagine when the wardens all get together it's going to be weird and wacky and full of shocking revelations about their fellow wardens lol

Hey! Have you ever been in a game before at all? If not, or if it's been a while/really limited, definitely reach out to folks if you have questions. It might be a good idea to get a plurk just for that kind of thing. I've seen people get intimidated out of playing in games because there's a lot of unwritten rules to how DWRP generally works, and if there's anything anybody in the game can do to help ease that sort of thing, I know we'd want to do it!
