no absolutely absolutely. miyazaki has some really interesting takes on it, and how like, a lot of zombie/undead horror is straight up a fear borne out of ableism and a disgust for people with diseases

i like games like this because it lets you take villain trope characters and humanize them. villains & monsters are hard to play in dwrp, you really need a premise that suits putting them through their paces. i think my last 4 characters before volk were a lovecraftian horror, a dragon, a monster made by mad science, and an evil knight with a cursed sword lol
