Hello!

I'm Kelsey and I'm bringing Loki here in as a CRAU from TLV. Loki's starting his warden career fresh on a new boat, having left the barge before getting to do any wardening. After going through his own graduation journey back in TLV, he's got some insight into the whole process, but things are different here and he's, well, kind of a disaster on the best of days if we're being honest. This'll go well.

For some further context, Loki went to the barge in TLV after his death in Infinity War, so he had already gone through the growth of his entire arc through the movies at that point and just had some rough edges to file off, more or less. He's aiming to try and go home and fix shit up re: Thanos and the fate of the Asgardians, though that's a complicated ask he hasn't quite planned out yet as far as his windfall goes.

Also, while I do have just...a ton of icons from the show, that is 100% not the Loki I am playing. I just needed higher quality/better lit icons after years of playing him with not so great ones lmfao. I did adjust my characterization and his powers based on the show a little bit, though! Y'all, it turns out he can teleport, who knew.

hi kelsey! i'm el! and i play this guy that your guy never talks to but is also from the same universe i guess so. that'll be interesting to say the least, especially with his having grown and stuff since infinity war. i generally play bucky as knowing loki died through thor informing the others after the whole thanos stuff, but i can nix his knowledge of any of that if you have a pref.

bucky would...actually disagree mostly with the thanos fixing stuff because he tends toward the dr strange mentality of "changing shit has consequences" so it could be interesting to mess around with, if you'd like.

my lol. delighted to meet you!! my terrible confession is that i've not seen infinity war, but the d+ series really reignited my affection for the guy(s), and i'm thrilled to see a loki around.

Loki actually had quite a bit of interaction with the Bucky in TLV, so I wanted to get your comfort level on that being acknowledged. Loki's pretty good at reading people so if bringing up having known another version of him (or something that might sound to Bucky like he lost his memory) is a potential issue, I can easily handwave Loki knowing it isn't worth it to mention. They weren't close, but they had an understanding and some threads with Bucky contributed to Loki's graduation, so I figured I should mention! The one thing that might be an issue beyond potential memory loss triggers is that the Bucky on the barge went home and canon updated to TFAWS and got a haircut Loki didn't approve of. Oh and told Loki that the snap got undone, that's probably the more important thing.

Don't have any particularly preference on Bucky saying anything about Loki at this point, I think. It'll just make for fun conflict, I imagine. :>

Loki's not sure yet what his windfall will specifically be, but he'll be way curious what Bucky's doing here if he isn't looking to get a windfall to change stuff! So they'll have a lot to talk about there for sure lmfao

Nice to meet you too! The show was so great ahhh I was so scared it'd just ruin everything for me and it turns out all my stupidest instincts were right, it was amazing. I still need to watch Arcane and will probably get that done this weekend while I'm on break from work! :D It looks great, I'm so excited.

i don't mind loki bringing up knowing bucky. i play him as thinkinhg other universes exist given that multiversal theory isn't really that new of a concept and it's under the banner of the scifi he'd have read and thought about. he would just think it was another version of him and not actually him.

bucky already has bad haircut :C but if you want to convince him to grow it out, no one's really remarked on it before so if it bothers you that much he could maybe be convinced, considering they're neighbors and loki could literally badger him into it lol leave him passive aggressive notes under his door about how his hair is ugly

yeah he'd definitely want to hear about it. bucky's also generally curious bc of the whole god thing. also thor is so cool and he's your brother wow :O (loki seething internally)

That sounds good to me! I imagine Loki will put it together pretty quickly that this is a different Bucky but the haircut matching will definitely have him assuming it's barge!Bucky at first. Laughing at the idea of him pestering him about it. Midgardians and their shorn hair, sigh...

And yeah Loki will be irritated at Thor coming up to an extent but also possibly burst into tears since lol that is. Why he is here and he will have just had to fucking ditch Thor on the refugee ship. ;_;

look bucky didn't HATE having the long hair just people kept saying he should probably cut it and he got tired of them saying that so he did. did he cave to peer pressure? yes. but does he love the short hair? honestly? hard to style. long hair had more options anyway. he could go back to it.
