wehwalt back with a brand new invention, a historical character from a novel that's out of print. truly i am back on my bullshit
penitence hurd, who will almost certainly not be introducing herself with that name, is from restoration england, and has survived a plague, a fire, a rebellion, heinous debt, and a terrible work/life balance to get... here. truly #relatable
while penitence's views are actually extremely ahead of their time for 1685, she's still a little retrograde by our standards. that is something i'm interested in playing out, because when confronted with her biases penitence is hugely capable of change! she just has to get over the initial shock.
possible trouble areas i can foresee coming up include catholicism, religion in general, sexism, democracy, prisoner rights, inalienable rights in general, and like... look, she's pre-enlightenment, its gonna be Rough,
if you want to not have to deal with any of that shit in any way shape or form pls opt out here.
i look forward to shenanigans, and while penitence may be a little eyeroll at the prospect, i am most assuredly not. lets get ready to rumble (ye merry gentlemen).
