tired fistbump...like we're all adults now i just. im so tired

NO I THINK you're completely not alone in this, being a chronic villain player is almost like like being a chronic top in a website full of masochists?? (not to be nsfw)
like, if you've got a castbase who is used to reacting to actions in their canon - sailor moon, for instance, is not out there beginning fights, she gets called in only when someone has already caused a problem. you NEED someone who is going to play a proactive character that tosses stuff into the ring for others to react to. pro-activity is the #1 reason i like villains! they dont need to wait for someone else to start the plot for them! you also WANT someone who is checking at every stage during heavy shit that people are still comfortable with the plot/thread/events unfolding and someone that isnt just playing an edgelord so they can powertrip with no consequences.

& then people just kind of get, entitled to use your guy as an NPC whose player doesnt have feelings, or they simultaneously need someone to hurt their guy (know you'll try to make it work and say yes because RP is a "yes-and" hobby) and genuinely hate anybody who would approve of hurting their guy (but now its your fault)

sorry i , guess i have spicy takes on this topic. i did not know i was going to write that much

TRJ and TLV are great premises for villains is i guess my point, tough to play elsewhere. this is a great premise! love this premise. inspired shit
