I think that works pretty well with her stuff, actually! Especially if he takes a couple days to check around first, Misty's probably watched it happen with Loki and is already moderately more on guard - they could have a comically pathetic little struggle about it and either he lands enough on her to just get away short-term or he gets it on himself and they're just mutually KO'd for a hot minute, my gut instinct is to go with whatever is funnier.
