ellie is from the last of us pt2, which is uh more grim. correspondingly, ellie is an inmate; she's done some real bad shit! she's also in a super bad place mentally! and 1.5 fingers are missing. who knows what happened to them! whatever happened it's definitely not all ellie's fault
