+1 guilt riddled british OC
What up guys! I'm Em, and I'm bringing you an OC that goes by Conner J.
ABOUT THE BOY
He's a 33 year old previously conscripted special ops soldier type who got coerced into working for a paramilitary organization called LAND (learning and national defense). The TL;DR summary is Conner had a shitty hoodlum youth, accidentally critically injured an innocent bystander during a drug-related altercation (he believes he killed her), and LAND swooped in the night it happened to be like, "yo, look what you just did, also you have a number of other arrest warrants. you can either serve what will probably be a life sentence, or you can sign a contract to come work for us for a few years." Being shook, naive, and still a little high, he signed on — second biggest regret of his life. He spent the next 7 years doing some relatively okay things (helping break up arms dealings, drug rings, etc.) and some extremely shady not okay things that haunt him (tracking down powered individuals and hauling them into LAND to be used/coerced like he was, on the premise that they're 'threats to national security' — he knows better, they're just people LAND wants to use).
After his contract ended he went on his guilt spiral, did some intense therapy, and has been trying to start a new life while still hating himself. His PB is the wonderful Andrew Lee Potts, who you might remember from Syfy's Alice or Primeval.
